Snow Day - and a bit of knitting!

So, I have been a very bad blogger. Blame three three year olds, birthday season, church, tons of OT at work, and over all, a crazy life. But today, I was given a blessing. In Oregon, everything shuts down for snow. We get it so rarely, that no one moves until it is gone. I have a safe vehicle, that I refuse to drive, because I really don't know how to do it safely! So, my blessing today was waking up to three inches of snow on the ground, and getting to stay home and play with my babies. Unexpected, unplanned, and thoroughly enjoyed!

Mr B loves the snow. He just enjoys life - to it's full extent. I love his exuberant personality.

My three munchkins, just chillin' and lovin' life. We played outside for about an hour and a half. This was towards the end, and they are tired, wet, and cold, but happy!

Prince Charming with his crown and smile. W has been another blessing lately. He has a lot of my brother's personality. Jer could make me laugh, smile, and was always there to encourage and cheer me. I miss that. I used to call him when I was having a bad day, just because I knew he could make me laugh. There have been several bad days lately, and no one there for me to call - which makes the bad day worse. W has been picking up the slack. Sometimes that brings more tears, but often, it is a special reminder. Bittersweet.
Miss R. has quite an arm, and isn't afraid to use it. Notice the snowball in the middle of the picture, and the leg action?! We may have a pitcher among us!And I have been knitting. There is lots to show, but not much that has had pictures taken of it. This is one of the bracelets that I made for Christmas presents! I have two sweaters for the boys almost finished (1 sleeve and a hood apiece away!), two scarves, two shawls, and two necklaces on the needles. Then, I have been working on catching up the scrapbooking! I promise to be a better blogger, and get more pics up soon. For now, I plan to enjoy the rest of my blessing day.

I hope all of you have had an unexpected blessing lately, too!

Glad you're back! It was worth the wait for the post! But less of a wait next time would be great! Good pictures too :-) (love, Mom)
