Deck the Halls!

Today was a busy day in our family. First up, the kiddos first ever Sunday School class. They were finally old enough, and they had a ball. We reviewed the Bible story before bed - and they knew it! I have good memories of Sunday School growing up, and I pray they do, too!

Then, they got to watch as Auntie S lit the first Advent candle at church. They don't get out of the nursery during church much, so this was a special treat!
After church, it was off to the Christmas tree farm to pick our Christmas tree. This is the first year we have thought they were old enough to go cut a tree...and they had a ball. The P'incess directed traffic all over the farm! Then it was home, and time to decorate. Amazing what 3 kids with no patience can do...the tree was decorated, start to finish, in 20 minutes flat! This was Andy's 'help' with the decorating. He has a bit of a puffed chest after yesterday's win, and today's announcement that Oregon will be playing in the BCS Championship on Jan 10th. More pictures to come from that, I am sure! And our 'nice' picture! The halls are decked, most of the buying is done, and the Christmas letter is written...so, wrapping, (UGH!), addressing (UGH!) and a few that I am making is all that is left! Not bad for the 5th of December!

Merry Christmas!

About Me

Christina
Oregon, United States
Hi! I'm Christina. I have been married to my best friend for 11 and a half years and we are the busy parents of three 4 and 1/2 year olds! They put a smile on my face more often then not! Our newest blessing is about 6 months away, and the whole family can hardly wait! Family is them most precious blessing I have been given, and I have learned not to take it lightly. For my "real" job, I work in a Hospice, doing all of their accounting. The work is fun, the people are great! And in my "free" time, I love to read, crochet, crosstitch, scrapbook, knit and occasionally sleep!
