Notice the knee wrap? On Memorial Day weekend, Andy fell on the play structure we took the kiddos to in Washington. Unfortunately, it hasn't healed, and instead has gotten worse! He has been off for two weeks now, and had several doctor's appointments. We head back to the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow, and we are pretty sure that the surgeon part of that title is going to get put into play! NOT fun! So, we are amusing him in any way possible.....that red hat sitting next to him?

That would be baby girl, trying to hide from Mommy at bed time. She thinks she is SOOOO funny! And even though Daddy looks innocent - he was involved clear up to his neck!

The yard work goes on - with lots of help. This is the "jungle" that I admitted to earlier. Looking better, huh? Well, it is done - except for the fact that I ran out of rock! Guess another trip to Lowe's is in my very near future.

The boys worked HARD to help me! W was very diligent at pushing the rock around with his Dollar Store rake!

B has management in his future. I was doing all of the carrying and hauling of the bags of rock from the garage clear to the back yard. As soon as I got to the flower bed and dumped it, he would point his finger and yell "MOH!" (more!) at me!!!!!

As you can imagine, it has been a little rough around here. Andy literally can't walk, and does good getting between the bed and his chair. So, there has been lots of extra to do around here. All of this, plus school, looking for a job, the regular stuff, helping with my brother's wedding in 3 weeks, and all of the doctor's appointments. Needless to say, I have been a BIT overwhelmed. I was having a VERY rough morning the other day, and ran to get a shower without folding the laundry. I got out of the shower to find two adorable little boys who had tried to help, and had "folded" all of the laundry for me. I know the picture is dark, but it was worth including! And do I need to mention that the tears flowed? Sweet boys!

Good news about doctor's appointments - I am trying to find a silver lining! - is that I am stash busting and working on some ponchos for gifts in the future. This is a big favorite that I have done before.

This is a new pattern, with a hood, that might become a new favorite. Actually, it might become R's!!! LOL So, that is a little of this, a little of that. Keep Andy in your prayers if you would - he is not looking forward to a possibility (almost definite) of a second surgery this year.
