Our first Halloween Trick-or-Treating adventure! Meet Spiderman, Batman, and Snow White. Two superheroes to protect a princess, according to Daddy!
Batman is ready for the adventure....
Spiderman likes his new muscles!
And a profile pic to see just who owns those muscles.
A pretty Princess Snow White who is carrying her new trick or treat bag, ready for some candy!
And let the adventure begin! First, knock. Second, wait for them to open the door, third say "Trick or Treat!" Fourth - get candy. They got steps 1, 2, and 4 very well. 3 - well, we tried! LOL
And all the cousins at Aunt 'ean's house! What a cute bunch! A fun night was had by all, and to top it off - the Ducks CREAMED USC! Daddy was a happy man, too! We now have three exhausted children with enough candy to get them through to the new year - and we only went to six houses!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a perfect fall day today: crisp, clear, sunshiny, the leaves were in full color array! The kids and I spent the morning at the playground - and after that..... the QUACKIES were on TV!!!!
They all insisted on having their "quack quack shirts" put on, and the boys pulled their chairs up beside Dad's to watch the game. And they really WATCHED!!! Boy oh boy, was Andy a happy man!
R hung out on the couch with Mom, watching the crochet hook fly. I think she wanted one of her own, from this look....
However, it was getting close to nap time, and she soon moved to this pose - she watched, but comfortably! And the Duckies won - even better! I LOVE Fall!
These three are a bit young for the Cubbies program at our church (a kids group for 3-4 year olds). However, since I am the director AND there is only one child that age group this year - and that child happens to be my niece - these three graduated up a bit early!! They love it and look forward to 'chuch' and 'ubbies' each Wed. night. They also are memorizing Bible verses, and really getting a tiny taste of the stories. We have really been hitting creation hard for the first of the year.....
Tonight, the story was God made flowers. My little flower is very proud of the flower that she made during craft time. We sign their verses, too, as another way of learning sign, as well as helping them memorize the verse. She is really good at the sign, and seems to enjoy it.
W likes game time best. Graypa does the older kids game time, and that isn't Mommy's forte. So the man with TONS of patience corrals 6-7 2 through 4 year olds for half an hour and gets semi-organized games going! Relay races are NOT run the way they normally are - but they are sure hysterical to watch! Pictures of that might be forthcoming!
Mr B. - He loves approval, and he is my most vocal one. Here he is with his "flower." A bit smushed - but God loves even the wilted flowers. I know he loves me - and I know I don't always act like a rose! He worked so hard on this flower, I just had to get pictures of it. And he was SO proud of it, too. Notice the smile. However, Mr B made me cry yesterday. He was sitting in the window, watching it rain, and I asked him; 'Who made the rain?' He told me - GOD made the rain! Today, reading books in his crib, he was pointing things out and saying...'God made the moon. God made the sun. God made the clouds...' Thank you Lord for the innocence of a child, and the fact that they are blessed to learn at a young age. If you think about it - pray for my Cubbies on Wed nights. 3 of them are my babies, 1 is a beloved niece, and 2 others are much loved as well. May they all grow to know God as their personal saviour!
R wasn't too into the 'cycle. That was noisy, and all for a guy. But....
It was Great Gram's birthday. It was great fun. She let us help her blow out her candles - on an ice cream cake to boot!

However, Mommy is trying to get some other things done, so I thought I would show you her works in progress. There's a lot of them! This is an afghan she is trying to get done for a wedding present. I kind of like it! And it is cleaning out her stash. That makes Daddy happy, too!
We thought that picture was kind of boring, though. So, the next time, we helped enliven it a bit! R wears her hat like a girl, and I am trying to fix it for her.
This is a baby sweater. There is a church baby shower in a couple of weeks that Mom wants this done for. She better get busy, quick! R and I helped her with this picture, too. She can take some very boring pictures if we don't help her out.
Mommy got really upset when we tried to help with this picture. No gratitude, I tell you!
She made a lace tablecloth a long time ago - before I was even born! She loved doing it, and is working on another one. No idea how long it is going to take her, but I think she might have bit off a bit more then she should chew right now! Oh well, she is enjoying it!
Mommy says these are her best works in progress. I don't quite know what she means. We are being good in this picture! We are all playing with our kitchen and just loving being home on Friday.
Look! We are playing with our new birthday road! We love our cars and road, and play with it all the time. Fridays are fun, 'cause we don't get to play with our home toys the rest of the week. We get Nonny's toys, instead!
A better shot of our road. I am going to the grocery store for Mommy, but B thinks that the park would be more fun. Speaking of which, Mommy said as soon as I was done with this, and she had the house clean, we could go to the park for reals. Well, I think the house is clean enough, and my little fingers are getting tired. So, to the park we go. I want to 'wing!
